Another Day... Another Time

No... this is not related to what I had written earlier... but this has to do with some gates being closed temporarily a few months ago

I have booked my GMAT date. Yeah, for those who were not aware (are there any really???), I am giving my Gmat again. The Date is 12th Oct 2008, 1345hrs.

Have this mixed feeling going on in my head, not only a feeling of fear, worry, anxiety, trepidation, but also excitement, hope, belief, faith, confidence.

By 1800hrs on that day... I hope to be a happily ecstatic man and come out of the center smiling with having taken many a steps closer to an ambition that I've had since long.

Wish me luck guys... for every dream is achieved by taking one step forward, however related or unrelated, but its the step forward that counts :)

Why this Title u ask..... (Target: Class....)

Well well well..... An interesting but silly (!!) story. Read on....

I have always been interested in joining ISB for quite sometime....dont know why but somehow i was able to relate with their teaching style, infrastructure and well all that jazz...

but being interested was always never enough.... i hadnt done anything about it...just kept working....
anyways...recently out of curiosity i was searching for ISB on the community section on Orkut and voila what do i see.... two communities of ISB that interested me.... "ISB Aspirants" and "ISB Class of 2008"

And well seeing the class of 2008 community..... i figure that this is for all those who are interested in joining for the batch of 2008 (obviously so...right??)....well i join both these communities but am actively keeping track of the "ISB Class of 2008" community...coz well u knw i am suddenly all so gung-ho in being focussed abt joining for that batch. But well slowly the more i kept track of that community the closer i came to realising that that was actually the community for all those who have already cleared or waiting to clear round 1 and 2 interviews....
what i see there are all talking abt which school to join.... LBS, INSEAD,Dukes,IIM's and what not....

God...Did that realisation hit me hard (I know silly me!!!) ..... but well what can i say... guess over ambitious is what comes to my mind now.... i hate having to unjoin from the community... honestly.... i mean have enjoyed going through all those posts from the various admits.... i had/have people going through my profile on orkut (checking me out...hee hee hee) and here i am sitting wondering what to reply to their nice comments (Rajat, Alka,Aditya..... )

Anyways... so now i guess u would be able to understand why i have titled my blog "Target: ISB Class of 2009"
